About Philip Olaomi
Philip Olaomi is an intense worshiper with a strong passion to bring down the presence of God through worship. Philip discovered his love and passion for music at a tender age of 14 when he joined his local church choir as a tenor singer with deep roots in classical music. He started writing songs and playing the trumpet at the age of 18. He later added the saxophone to the list of instruments he plays proficiently.
Philip Olaomi in 2019 bagged two trophies at the African Gospel Music Awards (AGMA 2019) for: ‘Best Male Performance of the year’ and ‘Best Gospel Song Writer Of the Year’. Following the release of his 8-track album, GRATEFUL: an original composition with various genres and hints of traditional rhythms – it is available on all digital platforms.
Philip recently premiered the anticipated visual for “Hallowed Be Your Name,” a fan- favorite that stands out from his debut project ‘GRATEFUL’ released in 2018. With this new video release, Philip Olaomi continues to set new heights for himself. His passion for music has also translated into various musical experiences.
